Extended information on the use of cookies
Hereby, pursuant to articles 13 and 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and following the simplified procedures for the information and acquisition of consent for the use of cookies, published in the Official Journal no. 126 of 3 June 2014 and provided for by the general provision of the Privacy Guarantor of 8 May 2014, the site www.villabizzarria.it provides visitors with information on what Cookies are and how they are used.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that the sites visited by the user send and record on his/her computer or mobile device, to be then retransmitted to the same sites on the next visit. Thanks to cookies, the site remembers the user's actions and preferences (such as, for example, login data, the chosen language, font size, other display settings, etc.) so that they do not have to be indicated again when the user returns to visit said site or navigates from one page to another of it.
Cookies are therefore used to perform computer authentication, session monitoring and storage of information regarding the activities of users who access a site and may also contain a unique identification code that allows tracking of the user's navigation within the site itself for statistical or advertising purposes.
While browsing a site, the user may also receive on his computer or mobile device cookies from sites or web servers other than the one he is visiting (so-called “third party” cookies).
Some operations could not be performed without the use of cookies, which in some cases are therefore technically necessary for the functioning of the site.
According to the legislation in force in Italy, the use of cookies does not always require the express consent of the user. In particular, the so-called “technical” cookies, i.e. those used for the sole purpose of transmitting a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user, do not require such consent. In other words, these are cookies that are essential for the functioning of the site or necessary to perform activities requested by the user.
TYPES OF COOKIES USED BY THE SITE
Below are the various types of cookies used by the Site depending on the purpose of use.
Technical Cookies
This type of cookie allows the correct functioning of some sections of the Site. They are of two categories: persistent and session.
Persistent: Once the browser is closed, they are not destroyed but remain until a preset expiry date.
Session: are destroyed every time the browser is closed. These cookies, always sent from our domain, are necessary to correctly view the site and in relation to the technical services offered, will therefore always be used and sent, unless the user changes the settings in their browser (thus compromising the display of the site pages).
Analytical Cookies
These cookies are used to collect information on the use of the Site by users such as: pages visited, time spent, origins of the traffic of origin, geographic origin, age, gender and interests for the purposes of marketing campaigns. The site will use this information for statistical analysis in order to improve the use of the Site and to make the contents more interesting and relevant to the wishes of the users. These cookies are sent from third-party domains external to the Site.
Cookies to integrate third-party software functions
This type of cookie integrates features developed by third parties within the pages of the Site such as icons and preferences expressed in social networks for the purpose of sharing the contents of the site or for the use of third-party software services (such as software for generating maps and additional software that offers additional services). These cookies are sent from third-party domains and from partner sites that offer their features among the pages of the Site.
More information and details on the various types of cookies, their functioning methods and characteristics can be found on the website www.allaboutcookies.org.
HOW TO DISABLE COOKIES BY CONFIGURING YOUR BROWSER
The user can authorize, block or delete (in whole or in part) cookies through the specific functions of his/her navigation program (so-called browser): however, in the event that all or some of the cookies are disabled, it is possible that the Site may not be consultable or that some services or certain functions of the Site may not be available or may not function correctly and/or the user may be forced to modify or manually enter some information or preferences each time he/she visits the Site.
